Dan Ingersoll began their work experience in 1989 at USG Corporation, where they served as the Manager of Financial Reporting until 2003. In 2006, they joined Carstens, Inc. as the Chief Financial Officer, a role they still hold.

Dan Ingersoll obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from DePaul Driehaus College of Business from 1999 to 2002. Dan also pursued an MBA with a specialization in Operations Management from the same institution from 2000 to 2001.
