Wilfredo Torres MD, FACOG is a distinguished Obstetrics and Gynecology physician with extensive experience in leadership and education. Currently serving as the ACOG Nevada Section Chair and Vice Chair since September 2019, Wilfredo also practices at Carson Medical Group since June 2016. Previously, Wilfredo held the position of Chairperson of the OBGYN Department at Carson Tahoe Health from June 2020 to June 2022 and served as President of the Carson Douglas Medical Society from October 2019 to January 2021. Wilfredo's academic contributions include roles as Assistant Dean of Admissions, Outreach, and Inclusion, and Assistant Professor at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine from July 2010 to September 2020, where Wilfredo also completed residency training. Educational credentials include an MD from the University of Nevada School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nevada Reno.
