Rick Wehrle has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and software development. Rick currently serves as the CTO at CARSNOOP since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the CTO at Powderkeg from 2021 to 2023. Rick gained extensive experience as a Senior Software Architect at Vertex Intelligence from 2020 to 2021. Before that, they worked as a Solutions Architect at Clear Software during 2020. From 2015 to 2020, they were the CTO & Founder at Work Here LLC.

Rick Wehrle's career also includes significant roles as VP Product Development at DirectEmployers Association, Inc. from 2008 to 2015, VP Global Site Analytics at Monster Worldwide from 2007 to 2008, and Director Channel Analytics at VistaPrint in 2007. Rick held various positions at Monster Worldwide from 1997 to 2007, including VP Web Analytics from 2003 to 2007 and VP Information Services from 1997 to 2003. Rick started their career as a Network Information Coordinator at IHETS from 1994 to 1997.

Rick Wehrle obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis from 1992 to 1997. During their time there, they focused on the fields of Psychology and Mathematics. Prior to that, from 1988 to 1990, they attended Indiana University Bloomington, where they studied Computer Science, Psychology, and Mathematics. In addition to their formal education, Rick has also obtained several certifications, including "Node.js: Design Patterns" from LinkedIn in February 2019, "JavaScript: Understanding the Weird Parts" from Udemy in January 2019, "Understanding TypeScript" from Udemy in January 2019, and "Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure" from Coursera in October 2017.
