George Ng is an engineer at Carry1st, a previous software developer at Far South Networks and OLX. George has experience working with a variety of technologies including Fabric, NewRelic, JFrog artifact repository, Firebase, Laravel 5.4, Retrofit and OkHttp, PHP 7, and MySQL. George was responsible for redesigning the UC app Wanderweb Talk to native Android using Kotlin as well as maintaining and building features for OLX SSA Android apps.

George Ng has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science from the University of Cape Town. George also has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science Honours from the University of Cape Town. Additionally, they have a BSc. in Information Technology (Business Computing) from the University of Cape Town. Finally, they have a certification from Udemy in Kotlin Android Development Masterclass.
