Rich Wardinski has a comprehensive work experience in various managerial roles in the construction and lumber industry. Rich is currently serving as the Director of Purchasing at Carpenter Contractors of America, Inc. / R & D Thiel, Inc. since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Weatherization Manager at Will County Center for Community Concerns from October 2019 to March 2021. From September 2018 to August 2019, Rich served as the General Manager at Hines Supply. Rich held the position of General Manager/Sales Manager at Lee Lumber from August 2013 to September 2018, and they also worked as the Purchasing Manager there from March 1993 to September 2018. Before joining Lee Lumber, Rich worked at Reserve Supply as the Corporate Purchasing Director/Inside Sales from October 1990 to March 1993. Rich'searly career includes a position as the Purchasing Manager/Store Manager at Harvey Lumber Co. from September 1980 to November 1990.

Rich Wardinski attended the University of Illinois Chicago from 1982 to 1986, where they studied Industrial Psychology. Rich did not obtain a degree during this time. In addition to their college education, Rich has also obtained several certifications. In March 2019, they received a Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification in Lean Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Furthermore, in September 2005, they obtained a Leadership Advantage Certificate from Dale Carnegie.
