John H. has been working as a Software Engineer II at CarNow since April 2022. In this role, they optimized the local development Docker environment for compatibility with Apple computers with ARM processors.

Prior to CarNow, John H. worked at Cerner Corporation from January 2019 to April 2022. John started as a Software Engineer and later became a Software Engineer II. During their time at Cerner Corporation, they developed products within the cloud platform HealtheIntent. John also migrated existing workflows from a shared cluster to a transient AWS EMR cluster for scalability and cost saving. John H. scheduled and supported MapReduce workflows running on EMR.

Additionally, at Cerner Corporation, John H. added personnel whitelisting to a React on Rails web app. John managed tenant configuration with MySQL tables and Rails CRUD endpoints. John H. also developed a new Ruby gem for the integration of internal data into the HealtheIntent public API.

John H. received their Bachelor of Science - BS degree in Computer Science from Temple University. John was enrolled at the university from 2014 to 2018.
