Minas Miliaras currently serves as Senior Vice President of Marine Technical Operations at Carnival Maritime GmbH since June 2018, following a role as Vice President of Fleet Cruise Execution at Carnival Maritime from February 2017. Previously, Minas held the position of Associate Vice President in Marine Operations at Royal Caribbean Cruises, managing a fleet of 13 cruise vessels from June 2006 to February 2017. Additional experience includes serving as Director Technical and Site Office Manager during the construction of the Celebrity Solstice cruise vessel at Celebrity Cruises, and earlier roles as Director of Technical Systems and Fleet Director. Earlier in the career, Minas worked with Lloyd's Register as a Surveyor and served as a Navy Officer in the Greek Navy, contributing to submarine projects. Academic qualifications include an M.Sc. in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering from Newcastle University, an M.B.A. in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture from the University of West Attica.
