Domenico Ruggieri has extensive medical experience, currently serving as the Chief Ship's Doctor at Carnival Corporation since 2016. Prior to this role, Ruggieri held the position of Chirurgo generale at Ospedale Ingrassia from July 1990 to February 2009 and at Arnas Ospedale Civico Palermo from July 1979 to July 1990. Ruggieri obtained a degree in medicina e chirurgia from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, completing the program in 1974.
