Alexander Barenbaum is an experienced leader in governance, risk, and compliance within the information security domain. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Governance Risk Compliance at Carnival Corporation, Alexander previously held significant roles at Verizon, including Sr. Manager of Security Architecture & Planning, where a data-centric approach to vendor security was implemented, and Senior Manager of Risk Management, where a scalable risk management and compliance program was established. With a robust background in security architecture, risk assessment, and team leadership, Alexander has contributed to the development of corporate security frameworks and standards, while also managing various security initiatives throughout a career that spans over two decades. Alexander holds a Master's degree in Information Assurance from Capitol Technology University and multiple Bachelor's degrees in Economics from Rutgers University.
