Jess is a search associate with the Search and Consulting Group.

Jess has a wealth of experience in college advising and counseling. Since 2014, she has been an independent consultant with JBR College Consulting (TN), providing individualized college advising to students and families. She also served as a college advising coach for Brainiac Tutoring (TN). Her independent school experience is rich, having served as college counselor at Hutchison School (TN) for four years. In addition to working with students and families through the college selection process, while at Hutchison Jess led workshops and programs on topics related to college admission, wrote letters of recommendation, and collaborated with other area schools to offer college fairs, an annual Mock Admissions Program, and other opportunities. She was also a lacrosse and field hockey coach.

Prior to Hutchison, Jess was a college counselor and college counseling coordinator at Buckingham Browne & Nichols School (MA) for two years. She also spent two years at ConnectEdu in Boston, where she held positions as college counselor and account manager. Jess completed the Harvard Summer Institute for College Admissions in 2011.
