Albert Vergés Gil has a diverse work experience, starting with a role as a Summer Intern at Fusion for Energy in 2014. Here, they worked in the Technical Support Services Unit of the ITER department, conducting a comparative study of parameters related to the First Wall, designing and coding a VTK-ANSYS interface, and participating in project management and international meetings.
In 2015, Albert joined CARNET as an IT Project Coordinator, responsible for coordinating and managing IT projects. Albert then transitioned to SEAT UPC Chair in 2016, where they served as an Industrial Relations Junior Technician in the R&D area, focusing on industrial relations tasks.
From 2018 to 2020, Albert worked as a Consultant at Ricoh Spain IT Services, providing consulting services to clients.
Currently, Albert holds the position of Senior Project Manager at CARNET, a role they assumed in January 2021. Prior to this, they also served as a Project Manager at the company from February 2020 to January 2021.
Albert Vergés Gil obtained their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 2015. Albert then pursued a Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering, specializing in Energy, at the same university from 2016 to 2018. Additionally, they completed a Master Programme in Energy Systems at the University of Gävle from 2017 to 2018, focusing on Energy Management and Systems Technology.
