Mosur Ravishankar has a strong background in software engineering and technical research. Mosur began their career in 2000 as a Member of the Technical Staff at Compaq's Western Research Lab, where they worked until 2003. Mosur then transitioned to Carnegie Mellon University, where they held the position of Sr. Systems Scientist from 2003 to 2007. Ravishankar's most recent role was as a Principal Software Engineer at Carnegie Speech, where they started in 2007.
Mosur Ravishankar completed their B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, from 1972 to 1977. Subsequently, they pursued their Ph.D. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University, from 1981 to 1996.
