Liz Carr is an experienced arts professional currently serving as Executive Assistant for the Women’s Committee and Gallery Ambassador at the Carnegie Museum of Art since June 2016. In this role, Liz engages visitors of all ages to enhance their gallery experience and promotes meaningful dialogues on art. Previous positions include Accessibility Programming Intern, where research contributed to improved accessibility initiatives, and Information Coordinator, supporting summer camp operations. Liz co-curated the exhibition "The Dynamics of Gender: African Art from Chatham University" while at Chatham University, enhancing curatorial skills. Previous experience also encompasses roles as Support Team Analyst at MotionPoint and stage management positions at Wick Theatre and Costume Museum and Broward Stage Door Theatre. Liz holds a BA in Visual Arts from Chatham University, with a focus on Art History, Museum Studies, and Studio Arts.
