Alana Embry is an experienced collections professional currently serving as the Collections Information Coordinator at Carnegie Museum of Art since March 2022. Responsibilities include organizing digital files and metadata for migration to a digital asset management system and preparing assets for public access. Previously, Alana worked as a Collections Manager at History Associates Incorporated and managed a private collection at the George R. Kravis II Collection. Complementing this experience, roles at educational institutions included teaching art courses as Adjunct Faculty at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith. Alana also holds a Graduate Certificate in Digital Curation from the University of Maine and multiple advanced degrees in Museology, Museum Studies, and Art History.
