Jignesh Patel is a Professor at Carnegie Mellon University since August 2023, with research interests centered on effective data insight generation and system efficiency. Prior to this role, Jignesh Patel served as a Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from September 2008 to August 2023, focusing on data management systems and also held positions as CDL Site co-Lead and Associate Professor. As a co-founder of DataChat since 2018, Jignesh Patel has contributed to innovations in data solutions. Additionally, Jignesh Patel has been a member of the Board of Directors at Lands' End since April 2014, overseeing retail strategies and product quality. Other key roles include Chief Scientist at Pivotal Software, Inc., and co-founder and CEO of Quickstep Technologies and Locomatix Inc.
