Vanessa Urban, Dipl.-Ing., currently serves as the Quality Manager Engineering Digital at Carl Zeiss Meditec AG since April 2023. Prior to this role, Vanessa worked at HMT Medizintechnik GmbH as a Risk Management and Technical Product Management professional, focusing on ISO14971, usability per IEC62366, design/device changes, and design control from January 2022 to February 2023. Experience also includes a tenure at Boston Scientific as a Senior Clinical Specialist in Neuromodulation from December 2017 to December 2021, where expertise involved radiofrequency, spinal cord, and deep brain stimulation, alongside contributions to product management and sales.
