Björn Hannemann has diverse work experience across various companies and roles. Björn started their career at KPMG Deutschland in 2007 as an Associate and Assistant Manager in M&A Tax. Björn then joined KPMG Russia for a brief period as a Senior Consultant in M&A Tax. Returning to KPMG Deutschland, they held positions as Manager, Senior Manager, Prokurist, and Tax Director in Deal Advisory and M&A Tax. In 2018, they became a Dozent at Hochschule Pforzheim, where they taught until 2022. Björn is currently the Head of International Tax at ZEISS Group, starting in 2023. Additionally, they served as the Bezirksvorsitzender at Junge Union Deutschlands from 2010 to 2013.

Björn Hannemann completed their EMBA degree in Mergers & Acquisitions at the University of Münster from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Diplom-Betriebswirt (FH) specializing in Betriebswirtschaft / Steuer- und Revisionswesen from Pforzheim University, which they completed between 2003 and 2007.
