Nirav J. Modi has over two decades of experience in the tech and healthcare industries. Nirav J. is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Limber, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they co-founded and served as President & CEO of Carium, a virtual healthcare operating platform, from 2018 to 2020. In this role, they led the company through its early stages and established its product-market fit. Before Carium, Nirav founded and served as CEO of Cevona, a virtual-first comprehensive healthcare plan and provider, from 2020 to 2022.

In the technology sector, Nirav held the position of Vice President and General Manager of the Blue Planet Product Portfolio at Ciena from 2015 to 2017. Nirav J. was responsible for managing a global team of over 800 employees and oversaw division P&L, product strategy, R&D, marketing, and customer support. Prior to Ciena, Nirav served as the Director of Product Management and Innovation for the Blue Planet portfolio at Cyan, Inc. from 2012 to 2015, where they led the development and establishment of the company's presence in the network management ecosystem.

Nirav started their career at Tellabs in 1999, where they worked as a Principal Product Manager and Software Engineer. Nirav J. led product management and R&D teams in designing telecommunications hardware and software to enable the transition to packet-based networking across various platforms.

Throughout their career, Nirav's roles have focused on product management, innovation, and executive leadership, with a particular emphasis on the healthcare and technology sectors.

Nirav J. Modi pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology, starting in 1993 and completing the program in 1997. Following this, they continued their education at the University of Minnesota from 1997 to 1999, where they obtained a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
