Babette Boone is an experienced professional in the field of social work and integration, currently serving as Conex project lead and Integration Coach at Caritas International.be since February 2022. Prior to this, Babette worked at Rode Kruis-Vlaanderen from May 2019 to August 2021 as a staff member focused on the reception of asylum seekers, providing guidance on the asylum procedure and coordinating with asylum authorities. Babette also has experience as a counselor, offering psychosocial support to applicants for international protection, and as a research intern with Street Child of Nepal, where involvement in the "Breaking the Bonds" project included developing an Accelerated Learning Programme for marginalized Musahar communities. Babette holds a Master's degree in Sociology and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, both from the University of Antwerp.
