Emily Van Loon currently serves as a Program Officer - Pacific at Caritas Australia since June 2022, following an internship experience with the UNDRR office in Geneva. Prior to this role, Emily worked as a Social Media Coordinator at Winki Suits and held multiple positions at Patagonia, including Social & Environmental Initiatives Lead, Assistant Manager, and Retail Assistant. Additionally, Emily was the Sydney Lead at Seabin™ and the Qld Outreach Coordinator for Oaktree, where responsibilities included coordinating advocacy events for international partners in Timor Leste, Cambodia, and Papua New Guinea. Emily holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from UNSW and a Bachelor of International Studies (BIS) from The University of Queensland, with additional studies completed at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
