Lucas Vu currently serves as a Research Scientist I at Caris Life Sciences since October 2021, focusing on advanced scientific research. Prior to this role, Lucas was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Barrow Neurological Institute from May 2016 to October 2021, conducting research on Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and relevant biomarkers. Earlier experience includes a tenure as a Research Assistant at Virginia Tech (August 2011 - September 2015), where dissertation research centered on liver proteome characterization using advanced mass spectrometry techniques, and at Arizona State University (December 2010 - August 2011), where thesis work involved developing cationic polymers for targeted gene delivery in cancer research.
