Alizée Ballarin's work experience begins with their current role as a Clinical Research Assistant at TriSalus Life Sciences. Prior to this, they worked as a Home Health Aide/Care Provider at CareYaya, where they assisted elderly and disabled individuals with medication management, groceries, house errands, and hospice care. Alizée also worked as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Elon University and participated in a Medical Observership/Shadowing experience at CLINIQUE DU DOCTEUR JEAN CAUSSE. Alizée gained experience as a Clinical Research Intern at Roger Williams Medical Center, where they observed surgical procedures and injections related to anti-mouse PD-1 antibody treatment. Additionally, they served as a S.T.E.A.M. Camp Counselor at Boys & Girls Club, where they supervised and organized activities for campers aged 10-14.
Alizée Ballarin completed their high school education at Moses Brown School from 2014 to 2018, obtaining a High School Diploma. Alizée then attended Elon University from 2018 to 2022, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, General.
In terms of additional certifications, Alizée obtained various certifications from different programs and institutions. In August 2022, they obtained certifications in Biomedical Responsible Conduct of Research, Post-Approval Monitoring (PAM), Working with the IACUC, Conflicts of Interest, Lifespan Recombinant DNA and Biosafety Course, Post-Procedure Care of Mice and Rats in Research, Working with Mice in Research Settings, and Basic Human Subject Protection Course (HSP) from the CITI Program.
Alizée also attained a Virtual Shadowing Nano Course in Emergency Medicine certification from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in February 2021. Furthermore, they hold an Advanced Open Water Diver Certification from PADI, obtained in June 2016. Lastly, they received a CPR/AED/First Aid certification from the National CPR Foundation in June 2021.
