Elaine Nienhouse is an experienced design professional with a strong background in architecture and project management. Currently serving as Design Manager and Lead Designer at Carey Design | Build since November 2021, Elaine has previously held positions including Architectural Design Associate at Blomquist Architects, PLLC, and Associate at Biomimicry Design Alliance, where collaboration with architects, designers, and scientists focused on integrating biological functions into design solutions. Additional experience includes roles at Starbucks, Ferris State University as CAD Level III/Assistant Project Manager, and various positions at Bob Evans Farms, Inc. Elaine holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture & Sustainability, along with an Associate's degree in Architectural Technology from Ferris State University. Leadership experience includes serving as Chapter President and Vice President for the American Institute of Architecture Students.
