José Tomás Hurley is a legal professional with extensive experience in environmental law and natural resources. Currently serving as Socio, Asociado, and Procurador at Carey since December 2005, José Tomás specializes in the areas of Recursos Naturales, Energía, y Medioambiente. Previously, José Tomás held the position of Asociado Extranjero at Corrs Chambers Westgarth from January 2015 to January 2016. Academic qualifications include an LL.M. in Derecho Ambiental from the University of Sydney (2014-2015) under the Beca Chile program, a Derecho degree from the Facultad de Derecho Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (2004-2008) graduating with distinction, and a semester of exchange studies in Derecho at the University of Technology Sydney in 2007.
