Dr. Peter Drechsler has a diverse range of work experience in quality management, regulatory affairs, and medical device safety. Dr. Peter is currently working as the Director of Quality Management & Regulatory Affairs at Caresyntax since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Baxter International Inc. from 2019 to 2021, holding roles as a Quality Compliance Manager and a Medical Device Safety Officer. Dr. Peter also served as a Senior TQM Manager at Allmed Medical Industries GmbH from 2018 to 2019. Before that, they were a Member of the Executive Board at qtec services GmbH from 2015 to 2018, where they supported medical device manufacturers in product registration, organization development, and administrative processes. Dr. Peter was also a Team Leader at BSI Group Deutschland GmbH from 2014 to 2015 and a Senior Supplier Quality Management Engineer at Gambro from 2013 to 2014. Prior to their industry experience, Dr. Drechsler worked as a Lead Auditor at TUV SUD from 2006 to 2012 and as a Post Doc at Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg from 2003 to 2006. Dr. Peter started their career as a Scientist at the University of Augsburg from 1998 to 2003.

Dr. Peter Drechsler completed their education in the field of physics. Dr. Peter earned a Dr. rer. nat. degree in Metal physics from the University of Augsburg from 1998 to 2003. Prior to this, they obtained a Diplom-Physiker degree in Physik from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg from 1990 to 1997. Dr. Peter also completed a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Physik from the University at Albany, SUNY from 1993 to 1994. In addition to their educational achievements, Dr. Drechsler holds certifications such as Six Sigma Green Belt from TÜV SÜD Akademie GmbH in 2012 and CMDCAS from Health Canada | Santé Canada in 2007.
