Mark Zimmerli currently serves as the General Manager of Information Security & Risk at CareSuper, a position held since October 2024. Previously, Mark held various roles at Spirit Super from April 2021 to October 2024, including Manager of Information Security, Security Architect, and Security & Network Engineer. Prior experience includes working as a Security & Network Engineer at Tasplan Super from January 2017 to April 2021 and various ICT Security positions at the University of Tasmania from August 2003 to January 2017. Mark's expertise encompasses policy development, risk assessment and mitigation, incident investigation, data recovery, computer forensics, and strategic planning. Mark holds a Bachelor of Information Systems with Honours in ICT Security and dual degrees in Commerce and Information Systems, specializing in Marketing and Management of Information Systems, from the University of Tasmania.
