Richard L. Fiore, MBA has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several decades. Richard L. began their career at Xerox Corporation as a Quality Assurance Engineer and later worked as an Optical Sensor Development Engineer. Fiore then joined Eastman Kodak Company, where they held various roles including Supervisor, Quality Engineer, and Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor in the Electronics Products Division of the Health Imaging department.
In 1997, Fiore took on the position of Operations Manager in the Intensifying Screens and Cassettes division of Health Imaging at Eastman Kodak. Richard L. implemented lean manufacturing practices and managed a budget of $22 million. Fiore successfully ensured compliance with ISO-9001 / EN 29001 and FDA GMP 21 CFR standards.
Fiore continued their career with Eastman Kodak and worked as Transition Manager for the Media- Health Group Strategic Alternatives project. Richard L. also served as Project Manager for the Health Group Media - Lean Manufacturing Center of Excellence, where they led projects resulting in significant cost savings for the company.
After the transition from Kodak to Carestream in 2007, Fiore became the Worldwide Media Manufacturing Manager for Carestream/Kodak. Richard L. was responsible for implementing a media manufacturing strategy across seven global sites and managing a capital budget of $6 million.
Fiore held several other notable roles at Carestream, including Director of WW Digital Output Equipment Manufacturing and Capital Manager of Medical Film and Printing Systems. In these positions, they supervised plant managers and strategic partners, managed manufacturing consolidation efforts, and aligned strategies with corporate objectives.
In their most recent positions at Carestream, Fiore served as the Global Service Business Manager for X-ray Systems and the Director of Remote and Support Services in the Global Customer Care Organization. Richard L. also assumed the role of Director of Global Field Services and Technical Call Center Services, where they oversaw a team of 900 employees across 40+ countries and championed the launch of global integrated technical call centers.
Throughout their career, Fiore has consistently demonstrated leadership, strategic planning, and operational expertise in various roles within the manufacturing and customer service sectors. Their contributions have resulted in improved efficiency, cost savings, and enhanced customer service for the organizations they have worked with.
Richard L. Fiore, MBA attended Syracuse University from 1975 to 1979, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in EE. From 1982 to 1985, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree at the University of Rochester - Simon Business School, with concentrations in Finance and Economics.
