Susan J Anderson, J.D. currently serves as the Vice President and Corporate Compliance Officer at CareSource since May 2020. Prior to this role, Susan held various senior positions at UnitedHealthcare from November 2006 to May 2020, including Senior Director of Quality for Government Programs, where oversight of over 200 independent audit-based quality programs was achieved, and management of a $15M operating budget resulting in a 30% cost reduction. As a Compliance Officer at Optum, Susan directed the development and implementation of compliance programs across multiple international regions, while also leading compliance strategies for marketing, sales, product activities, and Medicare sales. Earlier experience includes roles as Associate General Counsel at UnitedHealthcare and HealthPartners, as well as serving as Special Assistant Attorney General for the North Dakota Insurance Department. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctorate from the University of North Dakota, along with advanced studies in psychology and executive development.
