Cathy Bordelon serves as the VP and Chief Audit Officer at CareSource since October 2013, where responsibilities include managing a diverse team of Operational and Information Systems, Regulatory and Clinical auditors, while evaluating internal control environments. Previously, Cathy held the position of Manager/Director of Internal Audit at Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield from 2010 to 2013, managing teams of auditors and assessing internal control environments. Cathy’s tenure at Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield also included roles such as Financial and Operational Audit Team Lead and Information Systems Auditor, along with experience as a Senior Internal Auditor and Internal Auditor. Earlier in career, Cathy worked as a Senior Internal Auditor and Staff Auditor at JCPenney. Cathy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
