Akshay Dalavai has worked in the tech industry since 2018. Their first role was as a Software Engineer at ChinaSoft International. In 2020, they worked as a Data Science Intern at MDVIP. Since 2021, they have been working as a Software Engineering Manager at CarePredict, Inc. In this role, they work closely with the Chief Operating Officer to develop efficient data processing and analysis systems. AKSHAY managed the development of CareVoice, a new feature on the Tempo wearable for seniors from concept to launch. AKSHAY designed the entire architecture for the feature and developed the logic in the backend to process the messages from Mobile device to the Tempo wearable. AKSHAY also proposed a scaling strategy for the backend application and successfully implemented it. Additionally, they develop new features by extending the functionality of existing back-end applications and alerting systems in Java. AKSHAY also collaborates with the Data Science team to design and deploy Machine Learning algorithms with production efficiency. AKSHAY also manages offshore software development teams (~ 8 people) for the Enterprise Web and Mobile applications.

Akshay Dalavai is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Engineering at Syracuse University. Previously, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University between 2013 and 2017. AKSHAY has also obtained several certifications, including Learning SQL Programming from LinkedIn in March 2020, Intermediate Python for Data Science Course from DataCamp in November 2017, Intro to Python for Data Science Course from DataCamp in October 2017, and Python Programming from Udemy in September 2017.
