Stavros Maltezos is an experienced medical professional with a strong background in neurosurgery. Currently serving as Associate Medical Director at Carelon since January 2018, Stavros has also held various leadership positions, including Neurologic Surgery Senior Advisor and multiple roles as Associate Medical Director of Neurosurgery at AIM Specialty Health. Prior experience includes being Chief of the Division of Neurosurgery at Mt Sinai Hospital Medical Center and a Neurosurgeon at Sinai Medical Group and Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital. With over three decades of experience, Stavros was also the President of CNS Neurological Surgery, SC. Education includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from Rush Medical College and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
