Julie Weinberger, MD FCCP, serves as the Medical Director at Carelon since January 2019. Prior to this role, Julie Weinberger was an Attending Physician at Chest Medicine Consultants from October 2007 to January 2019 and also held the position of Attending Physician at John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County from July 2003 to October 2007. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Medicine degree from Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, as well as multiple advanced degrees from Northwestern University, including a Master of Science in Clinical Research and fellowships in pulmonary and critical care medicine and internal medicine. Additional educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Chicago.
