Colin Brown serves as the Head of Education and Training at CareFlight since June 2011, where a significant team expansion occurred, growing from two to three full-time staff and over 40 casuals within four years, alongside developing a strategic sustainability plan for the department. In a previous role as MediSim Manager, Colin created Australia's first free, high-fidelity clinical simulation trauma outreach training program, successfully managing its transition from a rural trial to an internationally recognized, life-saving initiative. Prior to CareFlight, Colin worked at Sunshine Coast Helicopter Rescue Service from May 2007 to June 2011 in media, events, and business development, establishing a new department aimed at raising funds and awareness for the organization. Additionally, Colin completed education at the Australian Institute of Management in September 2019.
