Kiran Bandi is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in security leadership and architecture across various organizations. Currently serving as the Manager of CyberSecurity at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield since July 2020, Kiran specializes in managing high-performance teams and developing cybersecurity strategies. Previously, Kiran worked as a Cybersecurity Architect at PenFed Credit Union, focusing on security architecture for ZTNA and SASE solutions, and led the vulnerability management program. Kiran's role as Principal Architect and Technical Program Manager at USDA involved Zero Trust security assessments and the implementation of security solutions tailored to government requirements. With a solid technical background as a Software Development Manager and other roles in prominent companies, Kiran holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, two Master's degrees in Electronics and Instrumentation and Management Information Systems, and various professional certifications including CISSP, CISM, AWS, GIAC, and PMP.
