Jeffrey Blend serves as the Assistant General Counsel at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield since February 2020, following a tenure at AIDS Healthcare Foundation from August 2014 to February 2020, where Jeffrey also held the role of Assistant General Counsel overseeing global healthcare initiatives. Prior to that, Jeffrey worked at O'Melveny & Myers LLP from May 2007 to July 2014 as Counsel, specializing in healthcare regulatory matters. Jeffrey's career includes significant roles such as Director of Managed Care and Contracting at St. Francis Medical Center and Chief Operating Officer at InterMed Health Systems. An educational background includes a JD from Loyola Law School, a Master of Public Policy from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of California, Berkeley.
