Mary G Murano is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in media and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as Development Manager at Career Resources, Inc. since November 2020 and as a Board Member for The Azraq Education and Community Fund since November 2017, Mary has demonstrated a commitment to community service. Previous roles include Grant Writer for Central Connecticut Coast YMCA, Director of Partnership Development at Save the Children US, and significant leadership positions at Al Jazeera America, NBCUniversal Media, Oxygen Media, and AMC Networks, where Mary effectively managed teams, drove revenue growth, and expanded distribution strategies. Mary holds a Bachelor of Arts from Stony Brook University and has completed specialized programs in philanthropy and fundraising at NYU Stern School of Business and the Encore!Connecticut Program at the University of Connecticut.
