Suleiman Furmli has worked in the medical field since 2015. Suleiman began their career as a Family Medicine Resident at Markham Stouffville Hospital. In 2017, they took on multiple roles, including Family Practice Physician at Town Care Medical Clinic, Palliative Care Physician at Ajax Pickering Palliative Care Team, Primary Care Physician at MD Connected Ltd., and Doctor at FurmliMD, where they offered valuable medical education and information about current and innovative health practices. In 2020, they became the Chief Medical Officer at CareClinic.

Suleiman Furmli attended the University of Toronto from 2010 to 2017, where they obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology in 2014, a Doctor of Medicine - MD in 2015, and a Family Medicine Residency in 2017.
