Corey Tabor has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Corey is currently the Regional Director of Church Engagement at Care Net, a position they started in 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Micro-Business Development Instructor / Consultant at BiGAUSTIN from 2020. In 2008, Corey founded III Coaching and served as its President. Corey also held the role of Program Director at Apartment Life from 2021 to 2022. From 2012 to 2020, Corey was the Program Director at The Source for Women, where they oversaw the development and expansion of the LifeGuard Sexual Risk Avoidance program. Additionally, they founded and served as the Lead Pastor at Full Life Community Church from 2010 to 2019. Corey began their career at CarMax as a Sales Consultant from 2010 to 2011. Corey also worked as the Maturity and Ministry Pastor at Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church from 2005 to 2009, where they partnered with the pastoral and leadership team to implement a capital campaign and developed various curricula and volunteer programs.
Corey Tabor completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Studies with a focus on Human Relations at The University of Texas at Austin from 1995 to 2000. In 2007, they enrolled at Rockbridge Seminary to pursue a Master of Ministry Leadership, which they successfully completed in 2016. During their time at Rockbridge Seminary, Corey also obtained a separate Master's degree in Ministry Leadership. In 2017, Corey began pursuing their Doctor's Degree in Transformational Leadership at Bakke Graduate University, where they are currently still enrolled. In addition to their formal education, Corey Tabor obtained a certification as a Certified Professional Life Coach from Fowler Wainwright International in October 2008.
