Shailaja Gowlikar has held various positions in the IT industry since 2003. Shailaja began their career as a Senior Recruiter at The Brandon Group Inc. in 2003. In 2008, they moved to Recruiting Minds Inc as the Chief Operating Officer. In 2009, they were promoted to Chief Executive Officer at Recruiting Minds Inc (RMINDS). Finally, in 2012, they became the Chief Executive Officer of CARE IT Services Inc., a WBENC certified Woman owned and operated minority company. At CARE ITS, they have been helping clients achieve their goals since 2010.

Shailaja Gowlikar's education history began in 1991 when they attended Kendriya Vidyalaya until 1998. Shailaja then attended Osmania University from 1998 to 2001.
