They also collaborated with local architects, urban planners, and economists during J&M cafe-sessions and government open-source conferences.
In 2006, Destry had a role at Woodward where they served as an action sports OSI (Outdoor Specialist Instructor) and junior counselor. Their responsibilities included providing skateboarding lessons at various skill levels and ensuring safety at training facilities. They also worked as a junior counselor for thirteen and fourteen-year-old campers.

Destry Teeter attended the University of Idaho from 2004 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree. During their time at the university, Destry studied printmaking, sculpture, interactive design, and furniture design. In August 2019, they obtained a certification as a Professional Scrum Masterā¢ I (PSM I) from Scrum.org.
