Alberto Caroli has a diverse work experience spanning from 2008 to 2023. Alberto is currently a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at CARDO AI, starting in March 2023. Prior to this, Alberto worked at Docebo from 2016 to 2021, where they held various roles including Data Scientist and Business Intelligence Analyst. In their role as a Data Scientist, they were responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying NLP production models, as well as experimental design of classification models and data transformation tasks. At Sentient, Alberto worked on a Master Thesis Project focused on web scraping of drugs and medicine websites. Alberto also has experience as a Study Hall Receptionist at the University of Bologna and as a Software Developer intern at BSD Software Srl. Additionally, Alberto has worked as a Tester at SPOT Software and as a System Administrator assistant at Gruppo Sistema Spa during their early career.

Alberto Caroli completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna from 2009 to 2013. In 2010 and 2011, they were an exchange student at Linköping University, where they studied Computer Science. In 2013, Alberto obtained certification in TOEFL from Educational Testing Service (ETS). Alberto then pursued a Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2013 to 2015. In 2014, they also took a course called "Bijvak" in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Amsterdam.
