Axel Colin de Verdière is an experienced technology leader currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Cardiologs since January 2023. Previously, Axel held the position of CTO at uptime.ac from October 2017 to December 2022, where leadership encompassed a 20-person engineering organization developing predictive maintenance solutions for elevators. Prior roles include CTO at sen.se, where responsibilities included managing the tech team and developing applications, as well as earlier positions as a lead developer and front-end developer at various companies. Axel co-founded Pionid, specializing in mobile application development, and contributed to wireless routing protocol research at UCLA. Academically, Axel holds MSc degrees in Computer Science from both UCLA and École Polytechnique.
