Beth Skidmore is an experienced executive, motivational leader, and skilled analyst. Driven by her commitment to team building, she is focused on continuing to grow Cardinal Group’s industrial services capabilities while strengthening the company’s internal operations.

As chief executive officer, Beth manages Cardinal Group’s sales and operations, finances, human resources, and community outreach. She also applies her extensive experience as an analyst to identify opportunities for the company and synergies between Cardinal Group and its customers.

“I believe that enthusiasm, hard work, and collaboration are the keys to success,” says Beth. “At Cardinal Group we are motivated by finding unique solutions to customer challenges. It takes a team effort to bring about those positive outcomes.”

Before joining Cardinal Group, Beth was with Energy Harbor and FirstEnergy Corporation, energy producers and retailers, headquartered in Akron, Ohio. Working in the energy field, Beth supported each of the energy companies’ sales processes, developed and analyzed data streams related to contracts and regulations, and initiated relationship-building and conflict resolution activities. Her ability to multi-task, master new technology, and adapt to innovative service products and business procedures allowed her to grow professionally and become a leader within the companies.

Beth is a 2008 graduate of Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Administration.

Beth continues a legacy of leadership that began with her grandfather, Andy Pohl, and, most recently, her father, Dan Pohl. As a third-generation leader, Beth understands the values Cardinal Group was founded upon: trust, value, and innovation.
