Rachel King has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Rachel began their career as a Retail Assistant at GOSH Boutique in 2012 and worked there until 2013. In 2016, Rachel worked as a Retail Sales Assistant at GAME Digital for a brief period of two months. Rachel then moved on to work as a PPI Case Handler at Marks and Spencer from September 2017 to February 2018. Rachel joined Lifetime Training in February 2018 as an Enrolment Course Advisor and stayed with the company until October 2020. From October 2020 to September 2021, they worked as a Personal Learning Accounts (PLA) Careers Coach at Cardiff and Vale College. Rachel then transitioned to the role of Project Support Officer at the same company from September 2021 to June 2023. Currently, since June 2023, they hold the position of Business Curriculum Coordinator at Cardiff and Vale College.

Rachel King attended the University of Plymouth from 2014 to 2017, where they obtained their BEd (hons) degree in Primary Education. Rachel'sfield of study was Education. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (ICYB) from The Knowledge Academy in October 2021, ASIST - Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training from Uplifted Wellbeing in July 2021, and Microsoft Outlook (Microsoft 365 Apps and Office 2019) from Microsoft in July 2021.
