Ahmad Qasem is an accomplished professional in biomedical engineering and health technology, currently serving as the Director of Research & Applications at CardieX Limited since May 2020, where innovative algorithms and methods are developed for reliable medical and physiological parameter extraction from various sensors. Prior to this role, Ahmad Qasem was a Senior Research Fellow at Macquarie University from March 2007 to May 2020, leading scientific and engineering projects in collaboration with prestigious institutions, while also lecturing in biomedical signal processing and cardiovascular dynamics. Earlier experience includes a position as Clinical Application & Research Manager at ATCOR, where Ahmad Qasem focused on developing cardiovascular measurement devices and consulting on R&D initiatives. Ahmad Qasem holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from UNSW and both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
