Haley Uher has a diverse work experience in the field of clinical exercise physiology. Haley started their career as a Shadowed Head Athletic Trainer at Connellsville Area School Dst in 2010. In 2012, they interned as an Exercise Physiologist at Excela Health and also worked as a Youth Fitness Instructor and Rock Climbing Instructor at YMCA, where they developed fitness programs for children. Haley continued their internship in Exercise Physiology at Mon Valley Hospital in 2014 and also served as a Graduate Assistant in Food and Nutrition at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. In 2015, they joined Allegheny Health Network as a Senior Clinical Exercise Physiologist, where they created individualized exercise prescriptions for patients post cardiac surgery and provided heart-healthy nutrition counseling. During their time at Allegheny, they were promoted to Senior Clinical Exercise Physiologist of Forbes Regional Hospital in July 2017. Haley later worked as an Intern-Exercise Physiologist at Excela Health, where they monitored patients' vital signs and guided them through exercise prescriptions. From 2009 to 2015, they served as the Head Lifeguard and Water Aerobics Instructor at Mountain Pines Campground and RV Resort, where they maintained pool safety regulations and provided first aid and CPR/AED services. Currently, Haley Uher is working at Carda Health as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist Manager, starting in September 2020. Their certifications include ACSM-CEP and EIM.
Haley Uher has an educational background in exercise science. In 2014, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania. Following that, in 2015, they pursued further education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Exercise Science.
In addition to their academic qualifications, Haley Uher has also obtained several certifications. Haley completed the "BLS for the Healthcare Provider" course from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association in December 2022. In November 2022, they obtained the "Exercise is Medicine" certification from the American College of Sports Medicine. Haley Uher also completed the "Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)" course from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association in July 2022. Moreover, they obtained a certification in "Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED" from the American Red Cross in April 2013.
