Keith Kirkwood is a seasoned materials expert with extensive experience in product management and materials engineering. Currently serving as Senior Product Manager for Materials at Carbon since October 2021, Kirkwood focuses on elastomeric materials. Prior roles include Senior Manager of Materials Engineering at adidas, where efforts centered on the 4D program, and Technical R&D Manager at Sherwin-Williams, responsible for strategy on materials characterization. Prior positions at Valspar involved leadership in materials science, optimizing product development through comprehensive characterization techniques. Kirkwood began a career in research at the Army Research Laboratory, conducting investigations on cephalopod chromatophores. Kirkwood holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara and a BChE from the University of Delaware.
