Alexandra Young has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Senior Operations Engineer at Carbon, which they began in September 2022. Prior to their current position, they worked at Esstech Inc. where they held various roles. Alexandra started as a Research Intern in May 2012 and ended in April 2013. Alexandra then served as a Quality Control and Regulatory Affairs Intern from May 2013 to August 2013. From June 2014 to December 2018, they worked as a Research and Development Chemist at Esstech Inc. Following that, they transitioned into the role of Senior Research Chemist from January 2019 to October 2021. Lastly, Alexandra worked as a Technical Marketing Specialist (Remote) at Esstech Inc. from November 2021 to May 2022.

Alexandra Young obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, graduating in 2014. In 2021, they earned a Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification from Villanova University. Additionally, they pursued a Master of Business Administration degree with a Finance Concentration from the Fox School of Business at Temple University, completing it between 2018 and 2020.
