Claire Pluard has diverse work experience in various organizations. Claire co-founded Carbon Yield in 2019 and served as the COO. Prior to that, they worked at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago from 2013 to 2020, holding multiple roles including Data Analytics and Social Impact Manager and Government Grants and Advocacy Specialist. Claire also worked at Scafuri Bakery as an Employee in 2013. In 2012, they were a Provisions Coordinator at NEOPOLITAN LIGHTHOUSE. Claire began their career in 2010 as the Marketing and Communications Coordinator for the Gephardt Institute for Public Service at The Community Service Office of Washington University in St. Louis. Additionally, they served as the Co-Executive Director of St. Louis Area Dance Marathon from 2010 to 2012. In 2011, they worked as a Development Intern at the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights.
Claire Pluard completed their high school education at Barrington High School from 2004 to 2008, earning their HS Degree. Claire then pursued a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree with a focus on Latin American Studies and Spanish at Washington University in St. Louis from 2008 to 2012. Later on, Claire attended Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management from 2017 to 2020, where they obtained a Masters of Business Administration degree.
