Lorenzo Sani is an experienced analyst in the power and utilities sector, currently working at Carbon Tracker since January 2021, initially as an Associate Analyst and now as an Analyst. Prior to this role, Lorenzo served as a Research Engineer at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, focusing on energy systems from September 2019 to January 2021. An internship at the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) in 2019 involved data collection and analysis for renewable energy reports, alongside evaluating EU National Energy and Climate Plans. Lorenzo's early experience includes contributions as a Local CommUnity Representative for InnoEnergy in Stockholm, an internship in business development at InnoEnergy involving a project on battery storage in Gotland, and a position as a commercial assistant at OpenDomo Services S.L. Education includes a Master of Science in Environomical Pathways for Sustainable Energy Systems from KTH and a Master of Science in Energy Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Energy Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
